I bought and read the first book at a book store and liked it, feeling it had its own feel within the genre. Since I was no longer in Japan, rather than buying the next book, I started reading the matching material here. I'm obviously not a native speaker of Japanese, and that might be related... but I found it much easier to follow the plot and the characters in the first book than the subsequent episodes I've read here. There are a lot of new character names thrown around a lot, and for me it feels like I don't have enough context often to remember who is who. The story events also seem a bit more discontinuous than it felt in the book. Perhaps this is more of a first draft and the books get revised a bit (I didn't re-read the contents of the first book on this site).
Like I said it's good story and with the female characters and mc, I feel like the way their relationship are, I think it's better to be a polygamy type of novel I saw harem on it.
But some novel doesn't have polygamy on it and it makes some readers mad. Cuz of how the relationship is in between them with the mc and the female characters. So I do hope they do end up together.
This is a good novel. The story is good and interesting. If I was asked whether I would recommended this story or not, then the answer is I will recommend it.
What I don't like is the story progress is too slow, monotone, and it goes forward and then backward again. The author is forcing the story to extend to much, resulting in too many useless chapter, add to that the forward and backward style making it more frustating to read. At the end, I choose to skip lots of chapter in the middle of a story arc, for example holy city arc. And guess what? I still can follow the story lol. To author, I hope you can fix this.
Bottom line, I still like this work. So thanks a lot.
