Sugar changed to salt, still sweet

While the basic concept is funny, I found myself emotionally attached to the characters. The author does an excellent job of showing their thoughts and feelings. Karen is a tragic character who only wants to make other people happy, and it made want her to be happy too. The story grabbed me, and I'm eager to read more.
