she doesn't realize that her childhood friend has given up on her because of her fake boyfriend, and she's blaming him and her mother as cheaters, but their not cheating on her, she didn't let him confess to her, she was in to much of a hurry to wait for him, and he's not the type of person to interfere with her decision, so her attempt to get him to confess to her back fired on her, and the comments her partner keeps making to him, although he doesn't like the way he seems to be treating, only make it appear that she's happy, so he can't try and protect her.
