The talk of regional events at the end made me reminisce about the regional festivals in my home state of Tennessee as well as the Southeastern US in general. My favorites would be Country Music Festivals (our regional music), the Fall Fair (It involves a lot of fried food and traveling theme park rides), and the Sweet Tea Festival (In the Southeastern US we often drink a large quantity of tea when compared to the rest of the nation, though we drink it cold and heavily sweetened).
