The Love That Still Burns in My Chest

I want to have a little good night rest,

and have love still burning in my chest.

When the mountains crumble,

and the rocks all tumble,

the love that burns forever

in you lets no fear enter.

So as the sand slide by,

I watch the oceans dry,

and see the rainbow fly;

'tis to sing my joyful cry.

To me, my heart has said,

apathy is not an aid,
