Death penalty has been controversial issue around the world for several decades. Some countries are against it while other countries adopt it as severe punishment for inprison. I provide three reasons as being against it.
Firstly, death penalty has a potential for executing innocent people. In the past, there have been some cases that after a criminal was executed, a true evidence was revealed which ended up to the false accusation.
Secondly, death penalty can not deter any crime. Accoding to data, there is no difference of severe criminal rates between countries with and without death penalty. So, it is not positive way for preventing any crime from being occurred.
Lastly, execution of criminal is inhumanity way which brings about the terrible suffering from pain and torture for criminal. There is a possibility that execution will be botched. No one deserves to recieve such a suffering.
In conclusion, Judicious system should aboid to execute criminals due to the possible case of executing innocent people, no effectiveness of preventing crime, and inhumane way. We should pursuit alternative effective solution in place of death penalty.
