第17話 Agree or disagree: Nations are justified in developing nuclear power.
Newclear power is hot topic now in Japan. According to news report, recently newclear debris have been taken from the reactor in Hukushima power plant. But it is too small amount of quantity. So it is unclear about how many decades it will need to take total of 880 tons of remnant of debris. Nevertheless, our country need newclear power for electricity. I provide three reasons in favor of developing the newclear plant.
Firstly, TEPCO bill is so high. Because it has almost monopoly without any rival company for producing electricity. So, we have to obey to their exorbitant bill. For preventing it, we need alternative source of energy. Newclear plant is so.
Secondly, it is not harmful for environment and human health because it doesnot emit carbon dioxide which will contribute to less carbon footprint. It will make us healthier not dependant on fossil fuels such as oil or gas.
Lastly, It will lead to contribution for science technology such as pysics. Development of newclear power can not only benefit for producing electricity but also enhance medical applicaiton such as diagonosis disease and cancer treatment.
In conlusion, although development of newclear power have negative effect for society, it will benefit for people and society due to less burden on expenditure for individuals, less depence for fossil fuels and application for science technology.
