Alonium Era

Episode 1 Early Alonium era

In the early days of the Alonium era, wealthy individuals interested in chemistry provided funding and laboratories to obscure scientists to learn about Alonium. Chemists were delighted, having more than enough resources for research. In fact, researchers received ample salaries from the wealthy, in addition to funding and laboratories. As a result, scientists gradually abandoned their previous fields of expertise to immerse themselves in Alonium research.

Over time, an important new fact emerged. According to a researcher named Kyle Robertson, Alonium, despite its relatively light mass, exhibited an unusually strong repulsive force. Some scientists disagreed with this, acknowledging the strong repulsive force but disputing the claim that Alonium itself was lightweight.

Researchers then attempted to determine Alonium's weight by accelerating it and colliding it with other substances, deriving its mass from the resulting momentum. However, the results were inconclusive. Alonium's strong repulsive force made it difficult to measure momentum accurately. Nevertheless, a scientist named Charlierno Matheil proposed colliding Alonium particles to measure precise momentum.

Charlierno Matheil's experiment results, when published, confirmed Kyle Robertson's findings. However, much about Alonium remained unknown. Therefore, scientists and even people with resources began desiring more efficient research activities.

As this trend gradually spread worldwide, organizations specializing in Alonium, called International Research Institutions, were established. Diverse research methods were proposed, diffused, and imitated. Amid this, unofficial international research institutions scattered around the world integrated into one.

Scientists positioned this as the world's sole Alonium research institution, recognizing it as the official authority to promote better research. Whether by chance or necessity, this institution happened to be in the hometown and residence of Kyle Robertson, who made significant contributions to Alonium research.
