he is broken because he blamed himself for touching inappropriately even though he was trying to protect her , he felt that he was to careless in how he acted even before the bullying started, it just reinforced how he felt about himself, it would have been helpful to him if he had just one person that didn't blame him to talk to and explain to that it was an accident that couldn't be helped because of the need for quick action thanks.
