第17話　反撃の行方

レオンは深手を負いながらも、バラクスに立ち向かう覚悟を持ち続けています。彼は身体の痛みを押し殺し、バラクスに向けて剣を振りかざします。

激しい一騎討ちの中で、レオンの動きが鋭く、素早くなっていきます。彼はバラクスの攻撃を見切り、瞬時に反撃のチャンスを突きます。剣がバラクスの体に切り込み、傷を負わせることに成功しました。

しかし、バラクスは怒りに燃え、力強い一撃でレオンを吹き飛ばします。レオンは辛うじて立ち上がり、自らの意志で再びバラクスに立ち向かいます。

「まだだ！私は絶対に負けない！」

レオンの声が闘志に満ちて響きます。彼は体力を奮い立たせ、バラクスに立ち向かいます。戦いの行方はまだ見えていませんが、レオンは自身の力と勇気で、この闘いを制しようとするのです。

バラクスの水の刃が、さらにレオンを追い込みます。レオンは大剣を使い猛攻に耐えます。

このままでは、埒が空かないとはわかっているが突破口が見出せない状態です。

レオンはアリアから別れ際に、小瓶を受け取っていたことを思い出しました。

その小瓶はアリアの氷のチャームから抽出した魔力が溜まってました。

レオンはアリアから受け取った小瓶を手に握りしめます。彼は魔力を感じながら、小瓶のキャップを開けました。

突如として、小瓶から強力な氷の魔力が放たれます。氷の結晶がレオンの周りに舞い上がり、バラクスの攻撃を一瞬にして凍らせます。

バラクスは驚きと共に凍りついた状態で硬直し、動けなくなりました。その隙をついて、レオンは勢い良くバラクスに近づき、剣を振り下ろします。

大剣が氷に切り込む音と共に、氷が割れ、バラクスの姿が崩れていきます。彼はレオンの反撃によって倒されたのです。

レオンは息をつきながら、バラクスの倒れた姿を見つめます。彼は一時の勝利を収めたものの、まだ戦いは終わっていません。

「これは一つの勝利だ。だが、まだ挑戦は続く。次はどんな試練が待っているのだろうか」

レオンの心には喜びと緊張が入り混じります。彼は次なる戦いに備え、新たな冒険へと進んでいくのです。

Episode 17 Whereabouts of the Counterattack

Despite being badly wounded, Leon remains determined to face Baracs. He suppresses the pain in his body and swings his sword at Baracs.

During the intense one-on-one combat, Leon's movements become sharper and quicker. He sees off Baracs' attack and instantly finds a chance to counterattack. The sword successfully cuts into Baraks' body and inflicts a wound.

However, Baracs burns with anger and blows Leon away with a powerful blow. Leon barely rises and, of his own accord, confronts Baracs again.

"Not yet! I will never lose!"

Leon's voice echoes with his fighting spirit. He musters his strength and confronts Baracs. The outcome of the battle is yet to be seen, but Leon intends to win it with his own strength and courage.

Barax's water blade pushes Leon even further. Leon uses a greatsword to withstand the onslaught.

At this rate, we know that there is no room for improvement, but we are unable to find a breakthrough.

Leon remembers that he received a vial when he left Aria.

The vial was filled with magical power extracted from Aria's ice charm.

Leon holds the vial he received from Aria in his hand. Feeling the magic, he opened the cap of the vial.

Suddenly, a powerful ice magic power is released from the vial. Ice crystals soar around Leon, instantly freezing Baracs' attacks.

Balacs froze in amazement, frozen and unable to move. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Leon rushes towards Baracs and swings down his sword.

Along with the sound of the greatsword cutting into the ice, the ice cracks and Barax's figure crumbles. He was defeated by Leon's counterattack.

Leon takes a deep breath and stares at Baracs' fallen figure. Although he won a brief victory, the battle is not over yet.

“This is one victory.

Joy and tension mix in Leon's heart. He prepares for the next battle and advances to a new adventure.
