Chapter 4 -Secret Mini Meeting(SMM)-

　On the next day, there was an email that school will be off until this robot problem is solved. I had promised Soushi that I needed to go to his house. I woke up early today and finished getting ready to go to Soushi’s house. I lend my dress to Teru so he can change his clothes. I hurried because the promised time was 9 o'clock and now it is 8 o'clock. We need to finish our breakfast by 8:30 to be on time. I ate fast and went to Soushi’s house with Teru and my sister.

Ding♪ Dong♪

『Please come in. Umm…who is people who standing next to Karuto?』

“Hi. I’m Karuto’s sister. I also want to talk with you to think about how we will help Teru.”

『Thank you for trying to help us. Please come in. We are going to do Secret Mini Meeting(SMM).』

“Hmm…So your sister is a scientist so it may help us.”

“It is a surprise but I made a strong ray gun to help you but can we use this?”

“What will we use it for?”

“It is for shutting the robots when they come to damage you. You and Karuto may be hurt by robots because you are Rima's brother and Karuto is your friend. If she can control the machine, that kind of thing might happen to you guys.”

“But why? Why does she need to attack us?!”

“She bears a grudge against your family and the people who are having a happy life. In DARKBIRD ORPHANAGE the Rima had special abilities so she was put in one room. So she doesn't have a friend. But you guys have many friends so you could have been attacked.”

“OK.”

“We will have that ray gun.”

I didn’t know about DARKBIRD ORPHANAGE so I was surprised that she can’t meet with anyone and just stay in one room. I can’t believe that there is no friend to play with!

Prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr…

　My smartphone sounds. It looks like it is a call from Shiori and she is friends from kindergarten.

“Hi, Karuto! I saw that the orphaned student in DARKBIRD ORPHANAGE was broken out from there! She has special abilities and she is in your town now so I was worried. Are you all right?”

“I’m all right but Teru is not.”

“Oh. That's bad. But why?”

“The person who broke is his sister.”

“What?! That is a big problem!”

“So I am trying to solve it.”

“OK. Where are you now?”

“I’m in a Miyagi、Kaga-3-2-1.”

“Thank you! I will go there now! Goodbye!”

“From Tokyo?!”

“.....”

And the phone's off. She is living in Tokyo because she wants to learn more about computer science. I think about it, but many people around me are involved in science. She said she will come now but I don’t think that is true.

　That night my house bell rang at 7:30. I don’t think it is a courier service, so who is it? I thought about today's call from Shiori and felt chill. I went upstairs to the entryway and opened a door. And I was surprised that Shiori was standing in front of the door.

“Did you suprise Karuto?”

“Of course! I have no reason to not be surprised.”

“I was so worried about you and Teru so I asked mom to help you guys! My mom said ok but just for 1 month.”

“I don’t think 1 month is just. It's great that you're here, but where are you going to stay?”

“In your house! Is it ok?”

“I will ask my sister.”

I ask Shiori to come to my room to wait for my sister. After that, I asked Shiori if I could stay at home or not.

“Yuno. Can Shiori stay at our home? She came now to help us with the Robot problem.”

“It is OK. She can stay in your room.”

“My room?! All Right.”

I was thinking that Shiori could stay in Yuno’s room so I was impatient. I tolled

“Shiori, my sister said you can stay in my room, but are you ok about that?”

“Thank you so much!”

“Why are you happy?”

“Because I can stay here.”

　I brought dinner for her because she didn’t eat anything after I talked with her in the morning. I get ready to go to sleep and bring a mattress for sleeping on the floor. Shiori is just a visitor so I think she better sleep on my bed or my bed smells bad with my sweat. But Shiori said that she wanted to sleep in my bed.
