第8話 Am I wrong?

They reached the school's entrance.

"Um...L-Let's Go." 

Marie said in a slightly embarrassed voice. 

"Y-Yeah." 

Sue said nervously. 

They entered and walked towards their classroom. 

But then, once again, they fall silent while walking. 

And this time, they remained silent because of that incident. 

'H-H-He Hugs Me. I-I-It's embarrassing.' 

Marie thinks, and her face turns bright red because of embarrassment. 

'W-W-Why the hell did I do that there? There might be a better way than that?' 

Sue thinks while lowering his face in embarrassment. 

He remembered the scene when he hugged her while lying on the ground. 

"B-But it is necessary because if that man sees me with her... he will definitely tell my parents." 

He muttered to himself while lowering his head. 

He then looks towards her. 

She is looking down. 

And her face is bright red. 

'It seems like she's embarrassed because of that.' 

Sue thinks, then looks down and thinks again, but unfortunately, he says it out loud. 

"I wonder what will happen if Marie is that girl who is in love with me." 

"HUH ?" 

Marie responds shockingly. 

Sue widens his eyes, covers his mouth, and thinks. 

'Crap. I said it out loud. What should I do now ?' 

"S-Sue..?" 

Marie said in an embarrassed voice. 

"Um. It's nothing. I just said it aloud. I-I-I mean, I didn't mean to, but it just came out of my mouth. I'm sorry for that." 

Sue said, nervously, to Marie. 

"Um..." 

Marie said while looking down. 

"I Am Dead." 

Sue muttered to himself while making a bewildered expression. 

"...Wha.." 

Marie responded. 

"Huh ?" 

Sue responds confusingly.

"What will you do if I turn out to be that Gi-Girl?" 

She said, embarrassingly, then looked at him. 

Sue widens his eyes as he sees the shiny pearl-like tears in her eyes. 

Sue gritted his teeth in silent anger, then instantly hugged her. 

"S-Sue...?" 

Marie said, surprisingly, while widening her eyes. 

"I'm Not Qualified Enough Yet..."

He said in a serious voice. 

"Huh ?" 

Marie responded. 

"If you are that girl, I will not hesitate to go through the most painful path to get you because... I don't know... if you love me or not... but for me... even as an introvert or cold-blooded person, I always love you." 

Sue said in a serious voice. 

Marie widened her eyes and some tears came out of her eyes when she heard 'I Always Love You'.  

She hugs Sue while closing her teary eyes. 

"...I Always Love You Till The Last Breath Of My Life...I Don't Care Anymore About What They Say About Love..."

Sue said while hugging her gently.  

"Huh ?" 

Marie responded. 

Sue smiles and says.

"...They Always Said That Love Is A Poison...Even If It Is A Poison... 

I Gladly Accept This Poison... Because For Me...Love Is Like A Shiny Moon In The Dark Sky... Where Everything Is Dark, But Still There's One Thing That Always Gives You So Many Lights...That's What Actually Love Is." 

Sue smiles, and some tears also appear in his eyes. He removed his tears, then released her and went towards the classroom. 

Marie looked towards Sue and muttered to herself. 

"Sue... I'm Glad to See That You Love Me Too. And I Promise You That I Will Show You That You're Qualified... For Me." 

She smiles happily and removes her tears. and went 

towards the classroom. 

Sue entered the classroom, sat in his seat, covered his face, and thought. 

'God... I Finally Say that.' 

Then he smiles and looks out the window and thinks. 

'I just don't want to be that person again. I don't want everyone, but there's still someone that I need the most.' 

He smiles as he remembers Marie's face. 

He recalled a specific incident.

*FLASHBACK*

Marie walks towards the corridor and stands just beside him, saying with a smile while looking outside the window. 

"You know, this world has many types of people. Some of them only wanted to be friends with you because of your reputation or what you had become. They ignore you when you're no use to them, but later they want to befriend you when you become useful to them. That's life after all. But there are still some people...who want to befriend you...not because of your reputation but..." 

Then she looked at Sue and said, with a charming smile.

"Because of what you actually are."

Sue's eyes widen in surprise when he hears that.

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

"Maybe I Need You Because of Who You Actually Are... Marie." 

Sue muttered to himself with a smile. 

Then he looked outside the window again and muttered to himself. 

"What A Wonderful Life I Have... I'm Glad I Realised It Sooner." 

Marie entered the classroom, went towards her seat, and sat there. 

She looks towards Sue and finds him looking out the window. 

"He's still daydreaming..." 

She smiles. 

"I'm Glad I Met You...Sue." 

Sue then looks towards Marie's desk and finds her staring at him. 

"Ah ?" 

Sue responds while he sees her staring at him. 

"Ha ?"

Marie responds when she is caught by him. 

She looks towards her desk. 

Sue smiles gently. 

Marie then looks at him slowly.

And while seeing his smile at her, She smiles back at him.

Miss Yasashi enters the classroom. Every student rises to greet her.

"Good Morning, Miss Yasashi."

"Good morning, my dear students."

Miss Yasashi, said with a charming smile on her face.

"Well, let's begin our class."

She said then everyone takes out their books and starts studying.

Soon, the lunch break starts.

Sue got up from his desk and was about to go out, but suddenly he found a piece of paper on his desk.

 He unwrapped that paper and saw something written on it.

"Please Come to the Rooftop. I Have an Important Message for You.

-Marie"

Sue looks at Marie. Marie smiles, then goes outside the classroom. 

Sue thinks. 

'What are the important things she wants to talk about with me?' 

Then he went towards the rooftop. 

While on his way, he hears a familiar voice. 

"Do you really want to be like that?" 

After hearing that voice, Sue widens his eyes and looks back towards the stairs.

He sees an 18-year old boy. He has straight black hair and bangs down to his neck with black eyes. He is 175 cm tall, muscular, and has fair skin. He is... Sue himself.

"You're...." 

Sue said, shockingly. 

"I'm you. Your real thoughts Which self do you want to ignore now." 

Another Sue said, coldly, while folding her arms. 

"What do you want?" 

Sue asked in a cold voice. 

"You know that loving someone is just as much as destroying yourself, right?"

Another Sue, said in a cold voice while looking at him.

"I..."

Sue hesitated, then he gritted his teeth and said. 

"I know. But Still, If that person loves you too, then it doesn't mean to destroy oneself." 

"Are you sure that she loves you?" 

Another Sue said, in a cold voice. 

"I..." 

Sue hesitated, then he looked down.

"I just don't want you to get heartbroken."

Another Sue said, in a cold voice. 

Sue looks at his other self in surprise.

Another Sue walked towards Sue and said something while passing by.

"Never Let Your Feelings Get In The Way Of Seeing Things As They Truly Are. Don't Forget That."

He said, then disappeared. 

Sue looks down and thinks.
