何年か前の夏

山梨県の忍野八海に行った

ずっと前にも行ったことがあった

遠足だったか家族旅行だったか

小学生の頃に訪れたきりの

遠い記憶を確かめるように

その夏

池を巡った

　　　✿　

一帯の地層に染みこみ

数十年かけて濾過された

富士の雪解け水

そう解説された湧水は

揺蕩（たゆた）う水草とともに独特の蒼さで

深い池の底を間近に見せていた

でも

僕の中の池は

これよりもずっと深く

怖くなるほどに透明で

厳かな暗さを秘めていたから

その違いに戸惑ってしまった

数十年をかけて濾過された

僕の記憶

心のそんな曇りのせいか

目の前の池をどう撮れば

ガイドブックに写る透明さにできるか分からず

目を転じた水面に気持ちを揺らした

Our early experience (i.e. childhood memories) is often redrawn with more or less exaggeration.

For the first time since I was a child, I went to famous springs located at the foot of Mt. Fuji. It is known that the springs comes from meltwater of Mt. Fuji’s and has been filtrated through geological layers for decades. So, the water is very very clear to see the bottom of the deep springs.

I, however, felt that the first impression in ages was little different from my memory. The my own springs was more blue and deeper. I guess I grew up and my memory was filtrated and exaggerated for decades. Perhaps because of this selfish impression, I failed to take picture of the beautiful and clear spring… Instead, I shot the surface of it. (Yes, I blame my poor performance for psychological reason. ;-b)
