At the cafeteria in CERN.

“Kohei, amazing. It’s perfect.”

Kate told Kohei with the highest excitement. The review of the Kohei’s report has been done. Kate is also a high level theoretical physicist in this area and worthy enough to give an authorization.

According to the new Theory, it has been proved that the present Universe can theoretically exist without the Symmetry Breaking assuming anti-matters were isolated in Extra Dimensions.

“Then Kohei, when will you open this?”

“Today or so. On the home page of Japanese Website.”

“What are you telling? This is the Novel Prize class discovery. I know the chief editor of “NEWTON”. Let’s disclose it more sensationally.”

“Wait, I don’t like such exaggeration. It’s enough on the Website.”

Kohei is still deliberate. Because in the theoretical physicists world it is common to accuse others’ studies and results. The fresher the study is, the more challenge it will get. To admit someone’s achievement means the defeat.

“And I wish to ask a favor of you. Don’t you make this our joint study, do you?”

“What? Are you going mad?”

“No, no. Without your suggestion about the Energy Constant, my theory couldn’t be concluded. You are worth enough for being nominated.”

As Kohei says, during the review Kate gave a hint to adjust the Thermodynamic Equation with using the Energy Constant. Without her suggestion Kohei’s new theory might not be completed.

“Give me a time. I will consider.”

“OK, accepted. But when I will get a barrage of questions, I will ask you for defense.”

3 days have past.

The report of the Committee was announced. The American research delegations violated CERN’s regulations and tried to create the artificial Black Hole with loading energy one and a half as strong as the maximum allowance. Furthermore they tried to hide the result by themselves. Further details was not opened due to diplomatic reasons.

The America delegations were ordered to quit immediately and the countermeasure against the accident was entrusted to the special team organized by European Union.

At the first meeting.

“Then how big will this Black Hole be supposed to grow? Anybody?”

Dr. Holmstein, the Chief Officer of German Delegations and the General Manager of CERN, proposed the question at first. Dr. Holmstein, who is posted as the chief professor of the Berlin University, is one of the greatest physicist especially in the Supersymmetry Theory.

“I think nobody can give a correct answer to that question. Because the artificial Black Hole itself was the completely unexpected event. Theoretically such Black Hole would evaporate soon after its creation.”

Dr. Michel answered. He is a professor of the Paris University and also one of grate theoretical physicists especially in the Superstring. The fact that such great members were nominated as the member of task team indicated how serious the event could be.

“Is there any good idea to terminate this monster? If it continues to grow, the result will be very catastrophic.”

His word was correct. Black Hole was born with the scale of only minus 33 power of 10 meters. But it has already become minus 28 power of 10 meters. It grew 5 times as bigger as its original within only several weeks. And the level of X-ray emission was also growing exponentially

“Black Hole is growing with absorbing everything surroundings. Then if we can shut down the supply of matters, it would be possible to stop the growing.”

“Well I see. But how can we do it?”

“There is the special movable nuclear container in the French Military Department. It was specially manufactured for the storage of the extremely pure plutonium. It can shield the highest level of radiation. If we store Black Hole in this device the Hole will gradually evaporate without additional supply of matters. If it’s necessary I will contact to the French government.”

“OK, please go ahead. But it’s strictly confidential.”

Dr. Michel stood up and rushed out form the meeting room.

“I wish it would be successful.”

Only GM Holmstein did not move with folding his arms.

One week later, the storage was arrived.

The storage is made of super alloy to shield the strong radiation. Its diameter is approximately one meter and its weight is close to two tons. Shielding work should be done by remote operations from the monitoring room due to the high level radiation.

“OK, one more inch left.”

With Dr. Michel’s direction a working vehicle slowly moves with fine tuning. Though he Black Hole has grown, its scale was still invisible size. The work has been done through the monitor of calorimeter. The red area of the monitoring screen shows the center of Black Hole whose energy level reaches 40 Tev.

“OK, stop. Next, two inches up.”

Black Hole is located at approximately 2 meters high and almost center of the experiment room. If the work is successful, the kaleidoscope like pattern of energy will disappear.

“OK, that’s it. Move the vehicle slowly ahead. Be careful.”

All the members there including Dr. Holmstein are watching the work to hold their breath. The glittering of the kaleidoscope had gradually become dark and finally the monitoring screen was completely black.

“It’s successful. The radiation was shielded without leaking.”

All the members’ applause echoed in the monitoring room. Black Hole was completely under control.

Almost at the same timing there was a big mess in CERM. The Report of Kohei and Kate was opened on the Website. Although it was just a few pages short report, the talented physicist instantly understood the important meaning of it. It could be a discovery as great as the Einstein’s Relativity.

“Oh, God. Tut-tut”

Many regretting or admiring phrases are heard here and there. Somebody sent a big applause and others started to search the disproof.

The report explains how the Universe was existing only with one simple equation. That is “(+1) + (-1) = 0”, the mathematics of elementary school. What is zero? What does plus one or minus one mean? We are existing in this world. Then what dose “existing” mean? We cannot make plus one from zero without minus one.

Current Cosmophysics makes the problem more complicated. Let’s make things simpler. At the first point of the Universe namely Big Bann, countless matters and anti-matters were created by the enormous pair-Production which can be expressed as “0 = (+1) + (-1)”. Soon later anti-matters (-1) had disappeared by the Symmetry Breaking and only matters (+1) had left behind. It is the normal understanding of current Cosmophysics.

But why did only anti-matters disappear? Why did the God choose anti-matters to be erased? We can think about the Universe which was made by only anti-matters. It seems very strange.

Kohei and Kate thought that anti-matters had not been erased but simply isolated in another world namely Extra Dimension. Kohei got a big hint from a waterfowl at the Sild See. That waterfowl disappeared when it dived into the water. Nobody can see any form from the surface. But the waterfowl was not dead but alive in the water. There are two dimensions of the lake. One is the air side above surface and the other is the water side below surface. The surface divides two worlds.

Similarly there are two sides in this Universe. One is the face side which is made by matters and the other is the back side which is made by anti-matters. It is possible that we are looking at only the face side and saying “This is the Universe.” This could arise the big misunderstanding. Scientists sometimes deny an event or a thing which cannot be observed. But such a hidden world could bring large effects on our Universe.

Though their new theory was evaluated suspiciously by many physicists at first, it gradually created a big sensation among the Society of Physics at any rate. However Kohei had still not noticed that this new Theory would become the very final Theory for the Earth’s fate.
