Don't loose confidence. You're doing a good job. Keep up the good work. I'll continue to keep reading even if the cadence of releases gets wierd. Just bring the story to a good end instead of abandoning it. That's all I ask as a reader.

It would be interesting to see dad step in here and try to become an approved hair stylist for the modeling agency. He has the reputation and been in the industry for long enough. Then soma can work as an apprentice.
That's easy for me to say as I don't know the realities of the Japanese Modeling but it would definately be interesting.

Actually, your idea is very close to something I've thought about many times myself.
I don't want to spoil too much, but there will definitely come a time when Soma's father seriously steps in to guide him.
That said, I'm trying to keep the story as realistic as possible when it comes to the Japanese hairdressing industry.
I don't know what salons are like in your country, but in Japan, assistant hairstylists often go through very tough training. It can be mentally exhausting, and when I was working as an assistant, there were days when it felt like a battlefield.
Because of that, I want Soma to grow not only as a hairstylist, but also as a person before I throw him into that world.
So please be patient a little longer. I promise his biggest challenges are still ahead. 😄
