断絆転光
Chapter 1: Remaining Shadows
A cold wind blows through the valley of ashes.
In the center, two shadows crouch. Zakuro and Dogiragon. They once believed in power and in their allies, but their hearts are frozen by the wounds of betrayal.
"...Banjou would betray me..."
"Miradante...I believed in you too..."
Zakuro mutters, spitting blood.
"What have we been fighting for?"
Chapter 2: Still Alive
Ryusei Kaiser quietly approaches them.
"...Zakuro, Dogiragon. You're all alive and well here."
Dogiragon glares.
"What have you come here to say now? You broke our hearts!"
Miradante steps forward and quietly speaks.
"I couldn't protect you then. I didn't hear your cries. But now... I can reach out to you."
Chapter 3: Remnants of the Flames
Memories of the past--
"I don't need your power anymore."
"Fight on your own."
Banjo's words, Gaiar's cold back.
The back of someone he thought was his comrade moved away, as if pushing him away.
"Why... why didn't you... need me...?"
Zakuro's voice was trembling.
At that time, there was no one who could answer that question.
Chapter 4: Betrayal of "belief"
Dogiragon's past.
That day on the battlefield engulfed in flames, he trusted Ryusei Kaiser's words and entrusted his back to him.
"You'll never betray me, right?"
"Of course. You're my--"
But his comrades dismissed him as "abnormal."
"I don't need someone who is swayed by their emotions."
"That's what you said, Ryusei..."
Chapter 5: Voices that cannot be heard, feelings that cannot be shared
"Your apologies mean nothing!"
Zakuro shouts. Dogiragon's fist breaks the ground.
Miradante slowly steps forward.
"But even so, I want to tell you.
I regret the night you cried alone more than anyone else."
Ryusei Kaiser also stands up.
"I... abandoned you. But this time I want to save you."
Chapter 6: Layered Wounds
"Don't say it so easily..."
Dogiragon cried, wrapped in flames.
"I believed in you. Your words, that heat..."
Zakuro shouts.
"We wanted to become Yatagarasu...! We really believed in you..."
Gaial Kaiser puts his fist against his chest.
"Zakuro... I've been watching you ever since that day. I have nothing but regret."
Banjou bowed deeply.
"You don't have to forgive me. But let me stand by your side once more."
Chapter 7: Signs of Rebirth
President Shichika spoke quietly.
"A broken relationship cannot be restored to the way it was. But we can be "reborn."
Zakuro and Dogiragon's eyes wavered at his words.
"... Can we be reborn...?"
"Even with tainted hearts like ours?"
Mira Dante spoke clearly.
"That's why we need you."
Chapter 8: Wavering and Reconstruction
Zakuro asked Banjou while crying.
"Am I... really an unnecessary existence?"
Banjou answered without hesitation.
"Not that I don't need you, I actually need you.
I couldn't have done it without you by my side forever."
Dogiragon also looked at Ryusei Kaiser.
"...Will you abandon me this time?"
"No matter what happens, I will never leave you. I swear."
Chapter 9: Embraced by the Wings of the Yatagarasu
The hearts that had once been separated are reconnected.
Zakuro and Dogiragon are welcomed into the circle of the Yatagarasu.
"This is what family is..."
Zakuro muttered softly.
"I won't waver anymore."
Dogiragon stood strong.
His comrades put their arms around each other's shoulders, one by one. "Welcome back."
"...I'm back."
Chapter 10: Bonds Blooming in a Solitary Shadow
"We were weak. But now..."
"We've learned the strength of believing in someone."
Zakuro and Dogiragon hold the Yatagarasu emblem close to their chests.
"We're no longer the people we were back then."
"From now on, we'll be the ones supporting others."
Like a flame, gentle and fierce.
The flower of bonds that bloomed in the shadow of loneliness now quietly illuminates the future.
