第9話 Do the benefits of accepting the gay community outweigh the disadvantages?
LGBT topic has been hot topic for several decades. Some argue that it benefits the society while others are against because it is detrimental to the traditionalist.
I think that benefits of accepting the gay community far outweighs the disadvantages with three reasons as follows.
Firstly, by accepting gay community can create the diversity and inclusivity for society which will lead to solidarity among all around the people regardless of sexal orientation. It will make this country in harmony. I hope that crime rate can decrease.
Secondly, LGBT community has potential for economic benefit and has the super buying power. By accepting their community, a lot of companies will tap into this market and can enhance their profits. It will lead to the Japanese well-being.
Lastly, Acceptance of gay community can terminate the mental health or any frustration for such a peple. If such a person of any of LGBT is treated discriminatly, he/she will suffer from mental illness or disorder. But in the case of being accepted as LGBT they can get their dignity and confidence as an individual and lead to more mentally and physically health.
In conclusion, acceptance of gay community far outweighs the disadvantage due to an increase of their dignity, mental and physical health and creating profits for newly entered business which will lead to more diverse and healthier society.
