Episode 1 Transitioning to another world

The midsummer sun was hotly enveloping the city. Yuto Takahashi and his friends were visiting a local summer festival. Lively music was ringing in their ears, and many people were enjoying themselves with smiles on their faces.

Yuto and his friends were enjoying pleasant conversation as they toured the stalls and stalls. Dressed in a colourful yukata and walking with a smile on his face, it was the very essence of summer cheer.

'Hey, Yuto! The shaved ice(kakigoori) at this stall is the best!'

One of his friends shouted loudly, calling out to Yuto. Yuto looked at the stall with curious eyes and saw delicious-looking shaved ice on display. The brightly coloured syrups slid over the ice and the scene was like the magic of summer.

'Really? Then let's try it together!'

Yuto and his friends queued for shaved ice and watched the waiter take their orders. After a few minutes of waiting, they finally got their shaved ice.

After sitting at the table with his friends, Yuto picked up a large spoon and scooped the shaved ice. The coldness of the ice felt like it was being carried through the spoon to his hand, and the sensation made him smile.

'Wow, this is what summer tastes like. It's the best!"

Yuto happily chatted with his friends as he brought the shaved ice to his mouth. The cold ice melts in your mouth and the sweet syrup tickles your tongue. The sensation was like a moment of summer happiness itself.

Conversations and smiles with friends coloured the memories of this summer day. The moments spent with them became irreplaceable for Yuto.

To beat the heat, Yuto and his friends found a shaved ice shop and got some delicious shaved ice. The beautifully coloured syrups poured over the ice were a magical sight to behold.

'This is the best!'

Yuto and his friends were delighted as he scooped up the shaved ice with a large spoon and brought it to his mouth. The coolness and sweetness tickled his tongue, and it felt like the magic of summer. His friends were also enjoying the ice with smiles on their faces, and a happy time was passing by.

However, as he enjoys his shaved ice, Yuto finally exceeds his limits. As he finished his last bite, his consciousness instantly turned white and the sounds and sights around him faded away.

When he woke up, Yuto was in a completely different place. He was lying on a thick field of snow, and his surroundings were silent. The air was cold, as if Yuto had left the heat of the summer festival and stepped into another world.

'Where... is this place? ...'

Yuto looked around in dismay.

However, when he looked around, he saw nothing but a field of snow. Looking up at the sky, a sparkle spread out as if stars were scattered across the universe, giving a mysterious glow to the surrounding space, and a beautiful, fantastic landscape that he had never seen before spread out before his eyes. And then Yuto realised that this was a different world from the one he lived in.

'This... can't be... another world...'

It was an unbelievable event that he would wander into such a different world because he ate too much shaved ice.
