the "main character" is just a MacGuffin, he's there (undeservingly) just to move the story around. He never holds the initiative and he deserves all the shit happening to him when he could be literally a demon king with the special ability he's supposed to get. It's also a pity that his mother has already passed away because she is the real villain in this work
