第4話 Dear Heart...Why?

Morning Light Shines and falls onto Sue's face through the window.

He frowns his eyebrows and slowly opens his eyes.

"Morning...?"

He rubbed his eyes then he remembered yesterday's incident.

He placed his right hand on his forehead and said to himself while sitting on his bed.

'I just...I just have to forget about this...It must be kinda sad but I will forget about this...Soon.'

He got up from his bed and went towards the window and took a look towards the outside.

He didn't see anyone.

He sighed then went downstairs.

[6th Day Before The Graduation Starts ]

He enters the dining room and sits on his chair.

"Good Morning Son."

His father said while reading the newspaper.

"Yeah... Good Morning."

He said in a tired voice.

"Good Morning Sue."

His Mother said while serving breakfast to his father and him.

"Good Morning."

He said in a tired voice.

"Good Morning Big Bro."

Ema said enthusiastically with a smile.

"Good Morning Dear (Yawn)"

Sue said with a Yawn while forcing a smile.

"What's the matter? Are You alright ?"

His mother asked worriedly.

"I'm Fine."

He replied then started eating.

"Did something happen yesterday ?"

His father asked while placing the newspaper on the table behind him and started eating breakfast.

Sue pauses for a second while remembering the scene on the rooftop then forces a smile by saying.

"Nothing much. Just too much work at school."

"Hm... It's normal on the days of graduation. But don't push yourself too hard, okay ?"

His father said then smiled.

"Yeah..."

He said with a fake smile.

Then he thinks while eating his breakfast.

'It's not easy to understand what one person feels unless it happens to others.'

He thinks again.

'I try to forget it...But why is it so hard to forget that...Why ?'

He silently gritted his teeth.

Luckily, no one notices it either.

He finished his breakfast then got up by saying.

"Thank You for the Food."

His mother smiles.

Then he went back to his room and changed his clothes and wore his school uniform and then went downstairs and put on his shoes and opened the door.

"I'm going now."

"Bye Son."

His father said from the dining room.

His mother and sister came out from the dining room and said with a smile.

"Be careful on your way to school."

"Yeah..."

He responded coldly then went outside and moved towards his school way.

He looks down towards the ground and frowns his eyebrows and thinks while walking.

'Sometimes it hurts when I keep my feelings locked inside me...'

Then he looked towards the sky and muttered to himself.

'...Even if I show my feelings....no one will understand it except myself...So it's better to keep it locked inside while bearing the pain.'

Then he thinks.

'Sometimes I'm afraid to tell others how I feel because maybe they will ignore it which will hurt my feelings or maybe it will destroy them...So it's better to don't tell them...'

Then he looked at his watch and muttered to himself.

"...Even if all people are greedy and sly but they didn't harm me yet so why do I even think of destroying them... It's useless to think that."

When he's walking his way to school. He sees a man and a woman just next to another street.

"Hey dear, I'm here."

A man said while waving his hand to a woman who was standing some distance away from him.

"I'm coming."

The woman responds while waving her hand then steps forward towards the man.

Sue looks at them. They're both attractive.

He looks at that man. He's handsome then he looks at that woman. She's attractive.

He smiles then thinks.

'Beauty is a curse...It always keeps us away from seeing who the real monsters are.'

Then he muttered to himself again while looking at the sky.

"I'm also not that bad looking. But I'm not a monster..."

Then he makes a serious expression and thinks.

'...But Marie is so beautiful.... does she hide a monster behind her mask...Is she's double-faced person...?'

Then he shakes his head and says to himself,

"I don't have to think of her...now."

He again remembers the scene on the rooftop.

"She didn't Love me... Right ?"

He muttered to himself with a disappointed voice.

He never accepts that He loves her but deep within... He loves her...so much.

He reaches school and looks around.

"She is not here either."

He muttered to himself then shook his head and muttered to himself again.

"Why am I even looking for her ?"

Then he hears some voices.

"By the way, Marie. Do you join the festival before graduation ?"

Hashibana asked Marie in a curious voice.

"I will try."

Marie responds in her charming voice with a gentle smile.

After hearing Marie's voice, Sue instantly looks towards her.

Marie was smiling but when she saw Sue, She looked down and stopped smiling, and walked away.

Sue after seeing that, widened his eyes in shock then gritted his teeth in anger and said.

"Why...?"

Then he muttered to himself while coming back to his senses.

"Huh? Why do I feel so agitated all of a sudden ?"

Then he places his right hand on his heart and mutters.

"Dear Heart...Why ?"

Then he smiles a little then walks inside the school.

Marie and Hashibana stopped at the entrance.

Hashibana waves her hand to one of her friends.

Marie smiles at her friend then looks in Sue's direction and mutters to herself.

"Sue... I'm Sorry...for ignoring you."

Then she placed her right hand on her chest and muttered again.

"I'm...Just not ready yet to face you."

Sue entered his classroom and sat on his bench and put his backpack inside his desk then closed his eyes then opened and muttered to himself while looking outside of the window.

"Alone Time is when I distance myself from the voice of the whole world so that I am able to hear my inner self talking to me."

He smiles gently then closes his eyes.

Soon, every Student arrives inside the classroom and after a while, Miss Yasashi also arrives inside the classroom.

Every student stands up to greet her.

"Good Morning Miss Yasashi."

"Good Morning my dear students."

Miss Yasashi greeted me with a charming smile.

"Now then, let's start your study."

Miss Yasashi said with a smile.

Every Student opens their textbooks and starts studying.

Sue opens his book and before studying, he takes a peek at Marie.

He sees her doing some writing work.

He smiles and mutters to himself.

"I don't know if it is Love or not but she looks attractive when she's doing some writing work."

Then he made a little disappointed face and muttered to himself again.

"I just wish that she will not be a double-faced person ?"

Then he starts studying.

Soon, the bell rings and the period is over.

Miss Yasashi stand up and look at Sue and said.

"Sue. Come with me to the staff room."

"Huh ?"

Sue responds confusingly.

Then she looked at Marie and said,

"And you too. Marie."

Sue looks at Marie in shock.

"Yes, Ma'am."

Marie responds then she gets up from her bench.

Sue muttered to himself in panic.

"Why is Miss Yasashi also taking Marie to the staff room with me ?"

Then he gets up too and they both follow Miss Yasashi to the staff room.

They both didn't look at each other on their way to the staff room.

Miss Yasashi enters the staff room then sits on her chair and looks at them while making a serious face.

'Why is she making that serious face? Did I do something wrong before? Is it because I stare at Marie recently? Oh, God. I won't let my image get spoiled like that.'

Sue thinks in panic.

Marie is looking at Miss Yasashi.

"I have something really important to discuss with you two ?"

Miss Yasashi said in a serious voice.

"Am I'll be alright ?"

Sue muttered to himself in a little panic.
