Osiris: a magical submarine Part I

Episode 8 The name is Osiris

"Look! This is Osiris, the first magical submarine in human history."

The next moment, the dim dock is dazzling bright, and Osiris finally reveals the whole picture.

The length of Osiris is more than 600 ft at first sight.

It is a huge submarine that no one has ever seen.

Commander Akiyama is watching it silently.

Rear-admiral Tanaka tells him the truth.

"As you have thought, it was Osiris that attacked Fuyushio."

"Already 40 years since magic was used in the military, Magic has been still thought to be mere assistance to physical equipment."

"From now on, magic will prevail."

"A new age will come."

"You experienced it in advance."

Commander Akiyama is too surprised to reply.

A submarine is a familiar existence to him.

But for some reason, he has felt uneasy with Osiris.

He knows nothing yet about a magical submarine.

But his intuition clearly teaches that Osiris is different than a normal submarine.

After meeting Osiris, he goes to the dock's underground facility next.

The dock has facilities in the basement, part of which is in direct contact with the sea.

"You can see the status of the ship bottom visually from here."

Follow the admiral's word, he is surprised to see the bottom of the ship from the window of an underground facility next to the sea.

"There is no screw! That's impossible..."

"You're quick to notice."

"Osiris doesn't need a screw because it will dive with magic."

"There is no screw, so no screw sound."

"Osiris is capable of perfect silence diving."

Commander Akiyama is on the verge of panic because of much incredible information.

He thinks "that means I fought such an incredible submarine."

"It was impossible for me to win Osiris."

Once they return to the Earth, a young man stands at the exit of the pier connecting Osiris and the dock, where there was no one before.

Rear-admiral Tanaka says "Let me introduce. He is the captain of Osiris, Lieutenant Junior Grade Yuki Mikami."

"Captain Mikami is also a student at the National College of Magic."

Captain Mikami received introduction salutes with a smile.

"Is he a student?"

"That's correct."

"If you are surprised to this extent you will not work in the Great Haven."

"Let's show you the inside of Osiris."

"Captain Mikami, See you later."

"Yes, sir."

They go inside Osiris through the pier.
