貧乏日勤タクシードライバーからの脱却奮闘記

第1話 日曜日の営収

今日は日曜日。観光地でもない私の住むこの町で、日曜日に稼ぐのは至難の業だ。

普通だったら酔っ払いの朝帰りを狙って、繁華街や駅で朝早くに出勤してそういう客を狙うのだが、私は違う。

朝８時過ぎ、繁華街の駅から６、７キロ離れた少し富裕層の住む団地に向かった。いつものように。今日は日曜日だから目標は１５０００円を超えればいいかなくらいの気持ち。

運が良ければ自宅から離れたお寺にお墓参りに行くお客さんに当たってそれが往復だったら２００００円は行くかなくらいの気持ち。

朝、常連のお客さんに当たり、４６００円。出だしは好調。その後も辺りが続いてお昼までに１００００円を超えた。

しかし、お昼過ぎから全くお客が途絶えて、結局今日は６回乗せて１５５００円。小割りが６００円あったから、１４９００円で一日の営業を終了。

でも英検１級の勉強を沢山できたので満足。

Today is Sunday. it is difficult for us like me taxy driver in this city where there is no attraction for tourism to earn on Sunday.

Typical driver would aim for drunken people to ride on at the down town district or main city station, but it is not in case for me.

At 8 am, as usual I headed to an area where a little bit wealthy people live.

My intension was earning more than 15000 yen because today is Sunday.

I had a little bit expection for more than 20000 yen if I encounter any person who goes to temple for prayer in a roundtrip.

Today's first passenger was our company's patron who uses our company taxi everyday for commuting. but I surprised to see him on Sundays.

My first several passengers were relatively long-distance customer.

It was good start for me. I could reach at more than 10000yen until noon.

But it was not followed with afternoon situation.

In the end, my total sales per day was under 15000 yen.

But I was satisfied with the amount of studying English for clearing Eiken first class I did in the cabin.
